Finishes | |
These finishes provide a nice extra level of protection when cleaning off coffee rings and other spills. They also look great and provide a higher contrast on the final piece, although you may lose that lovely slate feel on some finishes. Here’s some more info to help you choose! | |
Shiny Lacquer – This provides the most contrast and protection but will look and feel more plasticy than the others. |  |
Matte Lacquer – This is a great middle ground as it provides the same protection but not quite as good contrast. It does however, feel a lot more like slate. | |
Stone Sealer – This feels the most like slate and provides a nice contrast, it also has almost as good protection as lacquer. | |
Unfinished Slate – This is the most authentic feel but doesn’t have as much contrast as the others. | |
Please allow a few extra days for your order to be shipped if you have picked a finish, as it will need to harden before it gets to its full strength.
